Custom systems from someone who understands your business, not a support desk that understands its product.

Most owners and leadership teams don't have a technology team. When they buy software, the help they get comes from a support line that knows the product and nothing about them. We work the other way around. We start from your business, your objectives and your strategy, work out what is actually missing, build it with you, and hand it over working. Then we either keep it running for you or teach you to run it yourself.

Who this fits

Organizations that need something custom to support their work and don't know where to start. Some situations we see often:

  • A solo practice that needs a site that communicates what it does, set up right the first time
  • A contractor whose customer follow-up is falling through the cracks
  • An office where intake, scheduling or quotes still run on email and memory
  • A team that re-keys the same information between two systems every week
  • A leadership team that wants AI doing real work in its operations rather than sitting in a slide deck
  • A nonprofit whose donor or volunteer follow-up depends on one person remembering

The common thread is one system, built around how your work actually moves, that you end up owning.

Types of solutions

Reach out for a quote for your specific need. Every organization and project is different, but most fall into three categories:

Small: a website that communicates what you do

A clear site with your services, a way to reach you, set up on your own domain. For a practice or a small business, this is usually the whole job.

Usually $750 to $1,500 to build

Medium: a system that takes over one job

Something that does a piece of work nobody on the team has time for. The customer follow-up that answers the "when are you coming back" text, reminds people the day of, and chases the estimates nobody replied to. The intake form that files itself. The report that writes itself on Monday morning.

Usually $2,500 to $5,000 to build

Large: a custom build, or AI across a team

When the job doesn't fit either of the above, we scope it with you and build it. For a leadership team, this is often the operations audit, one build that takes a real job over, and a rollout that trains the team to keep going without us.

From $5,000, depending on scope

After the build

A system nobody maintains stops working, usually when it's least convenient. So every build comes with a choice. A monthly care plan, where we host it, watch it, keep it updated, make small changes and fix anything we built. Or we teach you to run it yourself, which suits people who want to own the whole thing. Most people start with the plan and take it over later, and either way you are never left holding something you don't understand.

One we built

The Bull and Bloom home page: the bull logo, the wordmark and a row of bouquets

Bull and Bloom, a florist, needed an ordering site that could take card payments and book same-day courier delivery. We built it with them, and it takes orders every day.

Ryan Fuchs

A note from Ryan

For the last two years I have spent a large share of my time building systems with AI, first at my day job and then for myself. I've built countless dashboards, agents that handle simple tasks, AI skill packages rolled out across our organization, and a system that reads my email, Slack, calendar, tasks and meeting notes twice a day and writes me a briefing with recommendations. It runs on its own, unattended.

What I noticed along the way is that most organizations don't need anything that elaborate. They need the one thing that is missing, set up properly and kept working. I also think the hard part for most owners isn't the price. It is being handed something they don't understand and then being left alone with it.

So that is how we work. We figure out what is missing together, we build it, we show you how it works until you are comfortable, and then we either keep it running or hand it to you. If you aren't sure which of these you need, send me a note about what is taking up your time and I will tell you what I would do, including when the answer is that you don't need us.
